Education Currents, a radio show designed for faith-based teachers and students, was launched January, 2010. It airs Monday and Tuesday from 11:05 until 11:30 am EST on internet radio or check your local Christian radio listings for times.
The purpose of this show is to provide current educational information to teachers, families, and students attending or involved in the traditional school environment. How do our children maintain a Christian worldview while attending public school? What can parents do to help their children when faced with opposing values? What right does a child have to talk about their belief system at school? How does No Child Left Behind help my child? This talk show is one of the first shows dedicated solely to educational issues.
Please consider becoming a ministry partner with us. Your tax deductable donation will help fund additional programming for more outlets.
Get your message out by producing 1-minute shows. These shows have the potential of being aired more than once and can be tagged with your organization's website.
We are always opened to conducting interviews. We need information, inspiration, ministry, and artists to interview. Everyone has a story to share.
While driving and listening to the radio, Dr. Rose Gamblin thought it would be great if there was a radio show dedicated to home-based education. She pitched her idea to a publishing house, and a network. The publishing house told her that they couldn't afford the $5000 she needed to pay for a producer. She set her dream aside and was extremely surprised when all the recording and broadcasting equipment came to her through the mail.

She contacted Charles Mills who said she could learn to be her own producer." I wrote every script those first few years." She explains. "And I and Michael (her husband) learned how to produce the shows using technology." Being a sound technician, and having an ear/eye for detail. Michael is now the official producer of both Education Currents and Homeschool Companion. Education Currents was launched in 2010 when Dr. Gamblin felt that another show would benefit those in traditional school.
